Is it more important that you played? That you played someone else? That you gained the upper-hand by cleverness? That you felt the satisfaction to even things up and gain the increase? Are you waiting and listening for “Well Played!”?
Who is the gamer? The one that controls your thoughts holds the controls of your next play…think about that? Ultimately, the one who plays others…is actually being played themselves.
The choice is always ours. I urge you to step out of the box and into His realm…he doesn’t play games.
He is the Way…the Truth and the Life! Plug into the POWER of GOD…not the power of the GAMER…Satan.
My devotion: Galatians 6:7-10
“Do not be deceived. God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. The one to please his sinful nature, from that nature will reap the destruction;
the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.”
Father…help us to hit the Esc button before all is lost and there is not redemption for us because we did not hear, we did not see, we did not escape the game in time. There is a deadline. Often you reprove and we ignore your prompting because we are too engaged in the play of this world. Help us Lord! Convictions are for our salvation, let us not be stiff-necked and rebellious. Jesus…we call out in darkness…light our way back to you and we will be saved! Forgive us of our sin and we will be forgiven and you will remember it no more! Bring us a better Way…Your WAY. ~Amen.
