Christ the Center

What a marvelous site to see an eagle fly over head.  The beauty of its wing span.   You are still.  Captivated.  The center of your attention is focused on the eagle.

What an example of how we to can focus on Christ, he is the center.  He has the eye of an eagle.  He is going to and fro over the whole earth.  He is calling as an eagle calls to it’s own.  Listen for his voice, he can be found.

Let Christ captivate your heart, just like this eagle did mine.  Amen.

  1. Dearest Zoey,

    Just as the flight of the eagle draws my attention and focuses my heart, so does His word. I thought of this scripture:
    Psalm 103:1-5

    1 Bless (affectionately, gratefully praise) the Lord, O my soul; and all that is [deepest] within me, bless His holy name!

    2 Bless (affectionately, gratefully praise) the Lord, O my soul, and forget not [one of] all His benefits—

    3 Who forgives [every one of] all your iniquities, Who heals [each one of] all your diseases,

    4 Who redeems your life from the pit and corruption, Who beautifies, dignifies, and crowns you with loving-kindness and tender mercy;

    5 Who satisfies your mouth [your necessity and desire at your personal age and situation] with good so that your youth, renewed, is like the eagle’s [strong, overcoming, soaring]!

    As our hearts are drawn to our Lord, let our youth be renewed, our hearts soar in overcoming and becoming, strong in our Lord!

    1. Jenni:

      Your perspective in the word is spot on. I am always bless when the Holy Spirit opens up WISDOM and brings you to write, share and encourage us. These scriptures reflect my heart in the moment with the eagle soaring overhead. ~Zoey
