Tapestry Treasures ~ Second Year in reflection

Some say that when writing- the first words are always the most challenging.  Although, it now been over two years for Tapestry Treasures, I am updating our ministry journal a little overdue. The Lord has brought change to our team through this past year, I think that has been my challenge to write about. I am excited for each of the gifted ladies that have shared on the blog, it is only a natural progression for the Lord to do a new work in their spiritual walks. My heart knew these days would come but it is never easy to let go and let God, at first. The doors have opened in their churches, community and personal lives and so, they must walk out in faith to do the will of the Lord. I bless each beautiful, wonderful and mighty women of faith as they go forward to serve God in their individual capacities.   You came along to support and encourage and I am so honored & grateful for all that you have contributed over these many months and years in laying a Godly foundation. It has touched not only my life but of those also who visit and read our blog.  Much love, Zoey.

So with I conclude with this short poem from Ralph Waldo Emerson:

What is Success?

To laugh often and much;

To win the respect of intelligent people
and the affection of children;

To earn the appreciation of honest critics
and endure the betrayal of false friends;

To appreciate beauty;
To find the best in others;

To leave the world a bit better, whether by
a healthy child, a garden patch
or a redeemed social condition;

To know even one life has breathed
easier because you have lived;

This is to have succeeded.

Ralph Waldo Emerson
